Services — SEO and search visibility

SEO in Sydney that gets you found, and gets you trusted.

Search rewards expertise, authority and trust. I build lasting visibility for Sydney and NSW organisations: technical SEO, structured data, content, link building and digital PR, so the people who need you find you in Google and in ChatGPT, and believe what they find.

01 — What's included

Search asinfrastructure.

Six connected pieces of work that build lasting visibility in Google and in AI answers. Not a checklist of quick wins.

  1. Technical SEO audit and implementation

A thorough review of the technical foundations that decide how search engines crawl, understand and rank your content, followed by the hands-on work to fix them.

  2. Schema markup and structured data

Structured data that tells search engines who you are, what you do and why you can be trusted, the same signals AI-powered results read before they cite anyone.

  3. AI-era content strategy and blogs

Service pages, guides and an ongoing blog built for how search actually works now: semantic relevance, topical authority, and expertise signals that outlast an algorithm update, and that AI assistants can quote correctly.

  4. Link building, digital PR and niche edits

Earned mentions from publications, directories, peak bodies and partners your sector already reads, plus placed and edited links where they genuinely fit. Nothing bought from a network I would be uncomfortable naming.

  5. Local SEO for Sydney and NSW

For organisations serving a specific community: Google Business Profile, local citations and location-specific pages, so the people nearest you find you first.

  6. Monthly tracking and reporting

One page your board can read without translation: rankings, organic traffic and visibility trends in plain English. No jargon, no vanity metrics.

02 — Our philosophy

I don't do SEOI'd be embarrassed to explain.

Many organisations in the high-trust sector have been burned by agencies that promised rankings and delivered keyword stuffing. I take a different view.

Visibility for legal services, mental health providers and cultural institutions should be built on the same values as the organisation itself: honesty, clarity, and genuine usefulness to the people you serve. Crisis information should never sit behind a slow page or a broken link.

That means structured data and semantic clarity, not tricks. Content that demonstrates real expertise, not manufactured authority. And reporting that tells you what is actually happening, including what didn't work.

For nonprofits and purpose-led organisations there is a specialist approach for nonprofits built around the same values.

Legal — Nolan Family Law

6.61.11

Average branded search position for “Nolan family lawyers”, from the second half of page one to the top of the result, at the moment people who already know the firm are looking for it. Read the case study

Arts and culture — Sydney museum

~25%a month

Average month-on-month rise in organic traffic across the first 90 days, and demonstrably higher visitation from the audiences the programme was built for.

03 — Common questions

Asked beforeevery engagement.

Will SEO actually bring us more clients or enquiries?

That is the only measure I report on. The work targets the searches people make when they are ready to act — "family lawyer Parramatta", "free legal advice Sydney", "what to do if" — not vanity keywords. Nolan Family Law moved from roughly position 6.6 to 1.11 on their branded search, which is the difference between being found and being missed at the moment someone is looking.

Can it help us sell more, or fill more seats and exhibitions?

Yes, where there is demand to capture. One Sydney museum saw organic traffic rise by around 25% month on month across the first 90 days, and higher visitation followed. For retail and ticketed work I combine organic search with paid campaigns so the two are not competing for the same click.

Does search visibility help us secure funding and grants?

Indirectly, and more than most boards expect. Funders and partners search for you before a meeting. A site that ranks, loads quickly, meets WCAG 2.1 AA and clearly evidences your work reads as a well-governed organisation, and the traffic and reach numbers give you something concrete to put in an acquittal or a grant application.

How do we show up in ChatGPT, Gemini and AI overviews?

AI assistants quote sources that are structured, current and clearly attributable. That means schema markup that states who you are and what you do, content written in plain answers rather than brochure copy, consistent citations across the web, and a crawlable site. The same work improves ordinary Google results; nothing here is a separate AI product.

Do you do link building, digital PR and niche edits?

Yes, earned mentions from publications, peak bodies, directories and partners in your sector, plus placed and edited links where they genuinely fit the page. I do not buy from link networks or private blog networks. If I could not explain a link to your board, I do not build it.

How long before we see results?

Technical fixes can show within weeks. Content and authority building usually takes three to six months to move meaningfully, and link building compounds after that. I set honest expectations and report progress monthly in plain English.

What does it cost, and do we need the Diagnosis first?

Ongoing search visibility sits inside the Digital Stewardship Programme. Where there are also website, speed or accessibility issues I recommend the $1,500 + GST Digital Capacity Diagnosis first, so we build on solid foundations. For an organisation with a functional site, we can often begin with a technical audit. Most organisations start with the free 20-minute conversation.

Do you work with organisations outside Sydney?

Yes. The practice is Sydney based and most clients are in Sydney and NSW, which is where local search work is strongest, but the technical, content and authority work is the same wherever you are in Australia.

Open whichever sounds like you.
