Starting with no followers, we launched a dedicated Facebook page for Hyde Park Barracks, sharing a diverse mix of content—stories, galleries, and videos—that captured the heart of the museum’s rich history and offerings. Over an 8-week period, we achieved sustainable audience growth and fostered an engaged online community. This platform became a cornerstone for ongoing engagement and a key channel for ticket sales promotions.
Driving Ticket Sales Through Paid Campaigns
The second phase of the strategy focused on a paid digital campaign designed to target multiple audience segments, including Sydney locals, domestic and international tourists, members of the CALD community, and SLM members. To reach these diverse groups effectively, we created tailored messaging and adapted creative content for each segment. The campaign utilised Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Google Search, ensuring we met audiences where they were most active online.
Our efforts paid off: the paid campaigns delivered 80% of all traffic to the Hyde Park Barracks ticketing website, surpassing ticket sales targets before the COVID-19 pandemic temporarily closed the museum.

For the past four years, we’ve proudly delivered digital marketing campaigns for the prestigious annual Sydney Open event.
